About The Position

This position is responsible for incubating and establishing the Data Governance function at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). The role focuses on supporting various business segments, corporate functions, and Digital & Technology partners by ensuring effective data governance practices are in place. It involves strategic planning, execution, and collaboration across different business lines to enhance data quality, compliance, and operational frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of eight to twelve years of related experience and/or training, including proven management experience.
• 10 or more years of management positions in sophisticated organizations required.
• Proven success with projects, technology use and development, organizational change, and staff development.
• 5 or more years of related experience in the commercial real estate management industry preferred.
• Experience working in large organizations with geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the strategy, planning, and execution for Enterprise Data Governance at CBRE, focusing on Global Workplace Solutions business segment.
• Define medium and long-term data strategy and operational framework to meet enterprise, business, and regulatory priorities.
• Ensure business partner understanding and alignment with data governance objectives.
• Build relationships and lead high-performing teams globally.
• Establish leading data management practices and shared services relating to data quality and provisioning.
• Implement data governance as commodity services for various clients.
• Establish data standards, policies, and controls.
• Design and implement a framework to sustain a data control environment.
• Supervise compliance with data policies and standards.
• Define data domains and implement business oversight via data governance organizations.
