The Digital Systems Network Architect for Lockheed Martin's Edge Processing Center Of Excellence will establish, develop and lead the technology insertion and definition for LM space as well as multi-domain networking products. The individual is responsible for the selecting and defining technologies, interfaces, protocols, networking architectures, fault tolerance, self-healing, network management, and overall system architecture of current and next generation space networks enabling industry leading data transport, data fusion and cognitive capabilities on our space platforms. Successful candidates will: Understand and develop architectures supporting multi-domain networks Work with stakeholders to understand and establish requirements and decompose the requirements into executable architectures. Be able to effectively communicate to stakeholders technical and programmatic trades of different technologies and architectures. Provide technical leadership to select, design, and deliver space networking products, standards, and protocols. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant STEM degree from an Accredited University
  • Experience in the development of networking technologies and products, including high speed networking
  • Ability to develop multi-domain network solutions
  • Experience with spacecraft electronics
  • Active DoD TS Clearance to start with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
