About The Position
This position is based in Memphis, TN, and involves a Monday to Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a Saturday rotation once a month. The role focuses on the repair and maintenance of minor and routine CNC equipment and production machinery issues. The technician will examine and gather data on equipment and machinery issues to help determine the fundamental problem and escalate as needed. Responsibilities include conducting routine machinery maintenance, ensuring proper working conditions, calibrating and performing preventive maintenance on digital equipment such as CNC milling equipment, 3D scanners, and 3D printers. The technician will also observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate the source of problems, utilize precision measuring and testing instruments, rig and move production equipment, install and set up new equipment, and provide onsite and phone support for external customers. Additionally, the technician will utilize a ticketing system to manage equipment repair and maintenance activities, check in/out inventory, tools, and supplies, and maintain company-issued tools, supplies, and vehicles. Other related duties and projects may be assigned as business needs require.
