Join Nelnet as a Digital Strategy Intern on the Marketing team, where you will assist in executing digital marketing projects for multiple businesses across Nelnet's diversified portfolio.   • Assist in executing digital marketing projects for multiple businesses.
  • Support day-to-day client relationships.
  • Create content and reports for websites and other digital properties.
  • Manage the day-to-day turnaround of work.
  • Prepare marketing reports and meeting notes for digital projects.
  • Prepare analytics reports and provide recommendations based on data.
  • Research and track competitor websites, social media, and landing pages.
  • Support monitoring of progress of jobs through Workfront.
  • Proof/review all work from the creative team for accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Compile information and conduct secondary research for various projects.
  • Populate website content through Content Management Systems.
  • Conduct quality assurance on web, email, and digital projects.
  • Perform clerical duties and other special projects as assigned.
  • Working toward a 4-year degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
  • Prior internships in marketing or related fields are ideal.
  • Dedicated interest in digital marketing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Good at building team relationships and multi-tasking.
  • Quick to learn and work independently.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • PC skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, SEMRush, or similar platforms.
