About The Position

SBDigital is seeking a Digital Strategist to join our Digital Fundraising Department and help elect Democrats, support nonprofits and PACs, and build warchests for movements across the country. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative team member who’s ready to execute high-performing digital fundraising programs and help drive results across email and SMS. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and confident in managing multiple moving pieces at once. They are a strong writer and editor, comfortable working across digital platforms, and eager to learn from senior staff while contributing meaningfully to client programs. They thrive in fast-paced environments and care deeply about helping Democratic campaigns and organizations succeed. This is a 100% remote position with a competitive salary based on experience.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a digital, communications, fundraising, or campaign role, ideally in a political or advocacy setting.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills – especially for digital fundraising.
  • Experience building and managing digital content calendars across email and SMS.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as NGP, ActionNetwork, ActBlue, Switchboard, Numero, and ActionKit.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
  • Passion for electing Democrats and advancing progressive causes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day email and SMS programs based on senior-led strategy and calendars.
  • Draft, edit, build, schedule, and QA email and SMS content across tools and platforms.
  • Manage audience segmentation, send logistics, and deadline tracking.
  • Monitor performance and flag trends, issues, and opportunities to senior staff.
  • Prepare reporting, recaps, and analysis to support client recommendations.
  • Support client communication by joining calls, taking notes, and handling follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with senior team members, creative, and data partners to keep programs moving.
  • Support rapid-response moments by turning around copy and building quickly.
  • Maintain organized calendars, trackers, and documentation across assigned accounts.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
