Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most complex business needs, including Accounting Advisory, Digital Solutions, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Managed Services. Connor Group is looking for a consulting leader to direct our Data Analytics & Operations practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of client engagement, go-to-market strategy, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Systems (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years in business process and/or data analytics or related fields, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong Industry experience in strategic finance, FP&A, RevOps, etc.
  • Proven track record selling and delivering consulting engagements.
  • Strong expertise in business, finance, data strategy, process optimization, and solution design without direct development work.
  • Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python and Java.
  • Experience with modern integration and automation tools (Workato, Boomi, n8n) and data platforms (Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Exceptional client relationship, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • AI/ML knowledge is a plus.
  • CPA and/or Master’s degree.
  • Workday certification.
  • Implementation experience with Workday Multi-book, Inventory, Advanced Revenue Management.
  • Exposure to ASC-606 (revenue recognition).

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client engagements, from discovery and scoping to delivery and executive presentations.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy and develop offerings aligned to client needs and market demand.
  • Own business development activities, including proposals, presentations, and deal negotiations.
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client executives.
  • Understand client business processes and advise on data strategy, architecture, flow, and tooling (e.g., Workato, Boomi, n8n, Snowflake) to solve business problems.
  • Oversee a team of analytics professionals within the broader Advanced Automation group.
  • Partner with internal leaders across multiple practices to deliver integrated, cross-functional solutions.
  • Represent Connor Group through thought leadership, marketing activities, and industry events.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and quality standards.
