About The Position

As a Social Content Associate will be supporting Rural King’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and analyzing engaging content across platforms. This role collaborates with search, email, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent experience).
• 1-2 years of social or digital marketing experience preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication
• Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
• Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
• Able to navigate and access all facilities.
• Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
• Close vision for computer-related tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with social management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Assist with copywriting, basic creative coordination, and maintaining posting calendars.
• Monitor engagement and platform performance metrics.
• Support promotional and seasonal campaigns through organic social channels.
• Stay current on social media trends and platform updates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align social messaging with other digital efforts.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
