CACI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer for the Exploit, Enhance, Enable, Influence (E3I) program within the C-C5ISR division in Sterling, VA to design, develop, enhance, deploy, and sustain current and future technologies, prototypes, systems, and SIGINT sensors directly supporting Army tactical commanders. We provide cutting-edge signals intelligence (SIGINT) solutions and deliver advanced electronic warfare systems to the Department of Defense.   • Lead and manage a team of DSP Engineers in areas such as innovation, system sustainment, and operational support.
  • Collaborate with customers to shape the future direction of our tactical systems.
  • Work within a dynamic engineering matrix to support the end-to-end development of SIGINT Software-Defined Radio (SDR) tactical systems.
  • Design, develop, debug, and test of signal processing applications running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test software for Machine Learning applications.
  • Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems.
  • Develop and refine analytic signal processing tools.
  • Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and communication theory.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership and customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or other object-oriented or functional programming languages.
  • Extensive experience in full-stack Linux software development.
  • 7+ years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written products.
  • Exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test, and production).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
  • Software Development skills with object-oriented languages.
  • Understanding of Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems, including receiver architectures, software channelization, modulation/demodulation techniques, and spectral analysis.
  • Experience with development of signal processing techniques and SDRs.
  • Familiarity with modern software architectures and technologies, such as Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Experience with telemetry systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of processing signals, including error correcting codes and digital video formats.
  • Knowledge and experience with target tracking systems.
  • Knowledge and experience performing machine learning techniques.
  • Experience in design, development, or testing of weapons systems.
  • Development of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessments.
