Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of work experience in an office, retail, or e-commerce setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines reliably.
  • Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) and learning new software tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Interest in e-commerce, retail merchandising, or digital content.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Prolonged use of a computer, including typing and viewing a screen for extended periods.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone with coworkers, vendors, and customers.
  • Must be able to remain seated for extended durations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with retailer portals (e.g., Staples Exchange, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Item 360, etc.) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete retailer-specific item onboarding templates with provided product data and assets, revising data to meet retailers’ requirements.
  • Upload and submit new product content to retailer systems/portals (e.g., Staples, Michaels, Office Depot, etc.).
  • Track onboarding progress to ensure products go live on retailer sites within expected timelines.
  • Track and troubleshoot item setup issues to ensure products are published and performing on-site.
  • Follow onboarding instructions and checklists provided by team leads or retailers.
  • Submit updates to product titles, descriptions, images, and other assets for assigned retailer accounts as directed.
  • Ensure all submitted content meets retailer guidelines and quality standards.
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of product listings, including data refreshes, or image and attribute updates.
  • Monitor onboarding project status and communicate any issues or delays to the team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of submitted items, templates used, and content status.
  • Support larger item setup initiatives and promotional launches.
