About The Position
As the lead librarian for Bristol's Taunton Library Learning Commons (LLC), the Reference & Instruction Librarian - Digital Services oversees library operations at Bristol's Taunton Center, including the supervision of student assistants and one part-time library assistant. In collaboration with other LLC staff, the position oversees access services for the location, delivers information literacy instruction, and assists researchers in the use of print/electronic resources. The position also has primary responsibility for maintaining the LLC's web presence, which provides access to library resources and services for all four LLCs. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position which may work up to 18.5 hours per week. Schedule may vary depending on local needs. Some travel to other locations is required.
