As a Digital Sales Representative at FedEx, you will play a crucial role in developing business through outbound calls to small and medium-sized businesses that are either current or potential shipping clients. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire volume from new customers by engaging in meaningful conversations with business owners and decision-makers. This position is designed to equip you for success, providing you with comprehensive sales education and training, along with ongoing coaching and support to enhance your skills and effectiveness in the role. In this position, you will be tasked with identifying potential new customers and conducting thorough background research to understand their needs. You will engage with decision-makers to discuss their supply chain requirements, analyze their needs, and develop tailored solutions that meet their specific business challenges. Maintaining existing business relationships is equally important, as you will need to develop a deep understanding of your customers' operations and supply chains through continuous interaction and analysis. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will coordinate with internal teams, including sales counterparts and other partners, to ensure a seamless and outstanding customer experience. Regular engagement with customers will be essential to maximize their understanding of FedEx's service offerings and to encourage the utilization of products and services. You will also be expected to take the initiative in leading internal teams, demonstrating strong organizational skills, discipline, and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the business. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the organization as a whole.
