The Digital Sales Manager at Urban One is a pivotal role within the Digital Sales department, reporting directly to the Vice President of Digital Sales. This full-time position is based in Cleveland, OH, and is exempt from overtime pay. The primary responsibility of the Digital Sales Manager is to collaborate with the sales teams of Urban One's owned and operated radio stations to enhance and maximize advertising revenue across R One Digital's extensive online network. This includes managing all Radio One websites in the region and iOne Digital websites such as Cassius, Bossip, and HelloBeautiful, along with a variety of digital targeting products and services. The Digital Sales Manager will coordinate the sales and service of all advertising schedules for their assigned website properties. This role requires regular reporting on advertising sales revenue, sales and inventory forecasting, and CPM analysis in relation to the sales plan. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of digital advertising and marketing strategies, staying abreast of evolving media trends and their impact on marketplace dynamics and business models. The ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients is essential. In this role, the Digital Sales Manager will lead integrated sales efforts, providing ongoing education to local radio sales staff about digital media sales opportunities. They will develop sales proposals, review local station RFPs, and make strategic recommendations to maximize revenue. The manager will set and own the territory sales agenda, prioritize sales calls, and identify unique integrated sales properties and promotions. Coordination with the VP of Digital Sales on account strategy and sales plans is crucial, as is collaboration with the Ad Sales team to optimize revenue-generating programs. The Digital Sales Manager will also monitor and evaluate online inventory and pricing, submit forecasts, and ensure that agency and client partners understand R One Digital's capabilities.
