The purpose of the Digital Rotational Talent Program role is to provide a 12-month rotational experience for entry-level Digital Team Members to prepare them for a variety of roles across the business. As part of this Research Strategy & Customer Experience role, trainees will rotate through relevant areas across research strategy, product management, and customer analytics. Trainees will also experience a variety of opportunities such as on-the-job experience, classroom training, leadership development, networking opportunities and mentorship.

  • Learn the jewelry industry, especially as it relates to Signet Jewelers, and assist digital teams in all areas they support.
  • Responsible for leading and developing a Capstone project to be presented to Senior Leadership that demonstrates innovation and showcases key skills learned during the program.
  • Work with an assigned Rotational Program Mentor to deepen business and role knowledge while pursuing professional development through hands-on learning.
  • Collaborate with Designers and Creative Directors to create user-centered UI mockups and prototypes in Figma.
  • Assist with daily design activities, including visual refinements and ensuring consistency across designs.
  • Attend cross-functional meetings to align design efforts with business objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve user experience challenges with creative approaches.
  • Design responsive interfaces for our e-commerce websites and internal tools.
  • Actively participate in weekly design reviews.
  • Contribute to product brainstorming, user research, and visual design decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers/owners to prioritize user stories, balancing roadmap features, operational needs, and technical debt.
  • Research user stories to clearly understand the intent and associated benefits.
  • Define product requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and accept/reject stories upon their completion in each sprint.
  • Prioritize and manage sprint backlog, and groom/refine user stories.
  • Define sprint goals at the beginning of each sprint.
  • Partner with design and technology teams to conduct reviews and sprint demos.
  • Setup and maintain standardized product reports, working closely with analytics team.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to design, develop, and maintain Signet's web applications.
  • Assist in front-end and back-end development tasks, including coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Work with multiple technical teams to come up with the best design implementation strategies.
  • Partner with business teams to understand requirements, build required solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve real production issues that are impacting Signet systems and customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, human-centered design, user experience design, marketing, or related field.
  • Proficient with design tools such as Figma (knowledge of Sketch or Adobe XD is also acceptable) and Photoshop.
  • Strong passion for user-centered design with the ability to solve customer problems creatively and present multiple solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, ceremonies, and roles, is a plus.
  • Experience with planning, conducting and synthesizing UX/CX research activities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
  • Commitment to implement strategic vision of organization.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies and database concepts is a plus.
  • Driven by curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
