Join the team amplifying journalism in the Pacific Northwest! KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio seeks a Digital Reporter (Reporter 1) to gather, report, and write timely, accurate, and engaging digital journalism for KUOW’s online platforms. This position plays a key role in daily news coverage and feature reporting that serves audiences across the Puget Sound region. The Digital Reporter works in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom environment and moves nimbly between assignments, producing stories across topic areas. While this is primarily a general assignment reporting role, candidates with beat expertise that strengthens KUOW’s coverage are encouraged to apply. Occasional contributions to KUOW shows and podcasts may be required. KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio is Seattle’s NPR news station. We are an independent, nonprofit news organization producing award-winning journalism, podcasts, and events in service to the 3.9 million people in our coverage area.
