The Digital Program Manager within the Enterprise Project Office (EPO) at First Citizens Bank is responsible for leading and managing digital programs and projects across the organization. This role involves overseeing the strategic coordination of multiple projects to achieve business goals, managing scope, cost, staffing, and performance, and delivering insights through reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates all aspects of assigned programs including sub-projects and related initiatives.
  • Manages planning, schedule, resources, and risk for programs.
  • Ensures quality and compliance, implementing corrective action where necessary to ensure cohesion between individual projects and the overall program.
  • Communicates key performance indicators and program metrics to appropriate parties.
  • Responsible for the strategic development, execution, and management of projects.
  • Maximizes available resources while minimizing risk and ensuring high-quality results.
  • Coordinates a team of associates throughout the project life cycle and conveys clear expectations of project goals.
  • Resolves issues, directs work activities, and keeps the team on track with the project schedule.
  • Collaborates with business units and senior executives to align project goals with wider strategic objectives.
  • Develops cases to outline and justify program-level initiatives in accordance with organizational planning.
  • Develops influential relationships with vendors, business leaders, and other key stakeholders in support of program success.
  • Oversees vendor selection, negotiations, issues resolution, and ongoing relationship management for assigned initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Project management or Program management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Project management or Program management.
  • Proven experience working on Digital Platforms.
  • Program Management and Project Management experience.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Expert level System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Willing to travel to Raleigh, NC a minimum of 4 times per year.
  • PMP certification Preferred
