About The Position

As Digital Product Owner - Digital Biomarkers & Endpoints within our Digital team, you will chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives. Digital R&D's mission is to bring the power of transformational technology to accelerate delivery of first-in-class, best-in-class medicines. Sanofi's Pharma and Vaccines clinical organization runs on average 180 studies per year, with a 50% increase in the number of Phase 3 studies between 2023 and 2025, creating the greatest pipeline momentum in Sanofi's history. The Digital Biomarker Product Owner will play a crucial role in addressing this challenge by leading the implementation of clinical development data acquisition programs. This role will set the vision, roadmap, and delivery cadence for Sanofi's next-generation clinical development products, driving notable reductions in trial cycle time and cost. Digital Biomarkers are designed to transform clinical development by providing new technologies for data collection and trial execution, redesigning clinical operations processes to optimize performance and cost through novel technology deployment for patient data acquisition, leveraging AI to support real-time data analysis, applying advanced analytic concepts and models to support trial outcomes, enabling comprehensive tracking of patient health across clinical studies, and improving Sanofi's site, investigator, and internal ecosystem using AI workflows. Requirements

  • 5 + years in digital product management or ownership
  • 4+ years in life‑sciences R&D or health‑tech.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • English proficient

Nice To Haves

  • Deep expertise in clinical‑trial operations and site management is highly desirable, and proven success with clinical trial‑data integration and advanced analytics platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Results-oriented and manages performance to high standards; clear and simple communication skills; high level of autonomy; ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Understanding data-integration principles, and familiarity with analytics and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap Management: Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, capacity trade‑offs and alignment with the department’s overall digital‑product strategy and technical roadmap.
  • Market Research: Lead continuous innovation discovery and product improvement by conducting ongoing market assessments and competitive analyses to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor product performance using leading indicators and KPIs to make data-driven decisions to optimize product outcomes.
  • Operational and Process Excellence: Drive excellence in daily operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and upholding high standards of quality and efficiency, while staying aligned with key business stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize product log data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital and Business teams, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
  • User Experience: Ensure the product delivers seamless and engaging user experience by leveraging user data and feedback.
  • Business Value Communication: Influence executive Clinical, Operations, Medical, and Digital leadership; secure funding, champion change‑management, and drive global product rollout.
