About The Position

The Digital Product Management Lead is responsible for leading the Digital Product team and maintaining a customer-driven, outcome-based focus for all product development initiatives. This role requires the ability to think strategically and perform tactically while navigating a highly matrixed organization. Additional responsibilities include coordinating across multiple functions and managing a small team with a highly collaborative attitude.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6-8 years' experience in product management
  • 4+ years of management experience and leading team members
  • Experience in Medicare industry preferred
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster teams of 4 - 20 people throughout the entire delivery lifecycle
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to communicate and articulate status with senior executive leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and deliver multiple projects simultaneously on tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer and stakeholder value is delivered by the product team
  • Proactively plan and manage cross-functional team communications and keeps product team apprised of key decisions
  • Navigate a highly matrixed organization to ensure positive outcomes
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to develop new features and products
  • Identify customer problems, develop hypotheses, and run experiments to evaluate hypotheses
  • Balance business needs, customer experience, and technical feasibility to ensure optimal product outcomes
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog by working with stakeholders for maximum efficiency
  • Help develop a customer-driven, outcome-based product road map that incorporates business and stakeholder needs
  • Evangelize and uphold lean agile practices and methodologies
  • Be responsible for ensuring correct user story definition, acceptance criteria, and prioritization for the product backlog
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster teams of 4 - 20 people throughout the entire delivery lifecycle
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to communicate and articulate status with senior executive leadership
  • Helps establish product vision and ensure continuous adherence from cross-functional teams
  • Actively support the achievement of SCAN's Vision and Goals.
