About The Position

We are looking for a talented, self motivated, full time digital production specialist to join our team. The right individual will collaborate with the customer service team and our clients to produce products that drive results for our clients. We will provide the right candidate on the job training.

Requirements

• Good organizational skills for managing multiple jobs at once.

• Ability to prioritize.
• Must have a keen eye for color.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
• Minimum of six months in production type workplace.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Comfortable with computers and technology and capable and willing to learn new software and technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of digital printing equipment (primarily Ricoh / HP printers and Fiery RIP devices) and all manner of bindery equipment is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the printing or design field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital printers, sign printers, and other multi-function devices.
• Perform key operator services on digital copiers/printers and multi-function devices.
• Operate large format printers.
• Copy center management/RIP management.
• Impose page layouts for cost effective production.
• Calculate booklet layouts.
• Manage multiple machines at once.
• Monitor digital workflow.
• Maintain digital printers and adequate supplies on hand.
• Work with service technicians when necessary.
• Perform quality checks on all jobs; responsible for notifying management of poor quality or incorrect jobs.
• Perform large format finishing such as laminating, trimming, or grommeting.
• Perform print material finishing such as folding, cutting, gluing, numbering, or bookleting.
• Package jobs, complete job tickets/work orders and delivery receipts as necessary.
• Organize and load orders for delivery.
• Communicate effectively with the management and production team regularly to guarantee that customer objectives and deadlines are met.
• Interact with vendors and technicians, including over the phone.
• Occasional pick up and deliveries.
• Order supplies and make service calls.
• Additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Benefits

• Compensation is $18.00 per hour.
• Eligible for benefits after three months of employment.
• Paid vacation time after three months of employment.
