About The Position

Imprimus Labels & Packaging is a leader in the label printing industry, with multiple facilities across California, Ohio, and Texas. They produce high-quality labels for cosmetics, food, beverages, and health markets, with a team driven by quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The company is seeking a Digital Press Support team member for their 2nd shift to assist in the label production environment. This role is crucial in supporting digital press operations, ensuring jobs are properly prepared, and maintaining high-quality output in a clean, air-conditioned press room.

Requirements

  • Background in graphic arts, prepress, or digital printing
  • Understanding of color theory and color correction
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 40–50 pounds with or without assistance
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and handling of materials
  • Good visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish color variations and detect print defects
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery and equipment
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a label or print production environment
  • Familiarity with HP Print OS or similar systems

Responsibilities

  • Support digital press operators during production runs
  • Prepare and stage print jobs for efficient workflow
  • Assist with color matching and color correction
  • Monitor print quality and identify issues
  • Work within HP Print OS and related systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
