The best thing we have to offer, though, is our amazing work environment and talented team. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating digital press equipment, including Xerox, HP Indigo, and Ricoh production printers. This role is responsible for the efficient setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital presses to ensure high-quality output and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or graphic arts is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating digital presses (Xerox, HP Indigo, Ricoh).
  • Strong understanding of digital printing processes, color management, and substrates.
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel and crouch and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with variable data printing (VDP).
  • Familiarity with finishing equipment (cutters, folders, binders).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other design/prepress tools.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Xerox, HP Indigo, and Ricoh digital presses according to job specifications and company standards.
  • Set up print jobs including loading media, calibrating machines, and selecting appropriate print settings.
  • Monitor print quality throughout production runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with service technicians as needed.
  • Manage print queues and prioritize jobs to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control, including color consistency, image alignment, and finishing.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and equipment maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with prepress, finishing, and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
