Requirements

Passion for public relations, data-driven content, email outreach and media relations
Experience running surveys and crafting stories from data to pitch to national news
3-5 years experience working in an agency or similar PR environment for major U.S. brands
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to form productive working relationships
Strong project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects while still working effectively
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
Strong attention to detail, i.e. near perfect grammar and strong editing skills

Nice To Haves

Basic to intermediary SEO knowledge
Experience using Microsoft and/or Google Workspace suites
Experience using a media relations tool such as Muck Rack or Cision

Responsibilities

Generate creative ideas to develop as content and pitch to journalists/bloggers
Build media lists for a variety of B2B and B2C clients across a wide range of industry groups
Work with our content marketing team to create unique, proprietary data to establish our clients as industry experts in their field
Pitch content generated by our team to news media for the primary purpose of generating coverage and visibility for our organic growth clients
Monitor news and proactively pitch new stories
Have a firm grasp on writing effective leads
Nurture and develop relationships with writers, reporters and bloggers
Conduct comprehensive research including validating sources and finding the most recent and relevant data available
