About The Position

The Digital Operator, in conjunction with their supervisor, coordinates or works with other departments to color correct and print graphics in a timely and accurate fashion, utilizing a large format digital printer.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Working knowledge of a PC, MAC
  • General understanding of 4-color process
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Lamination of finished printed parts
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general information pertaining to the job
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors and other employees
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Must have the ability to apply information and variables learned from one task or project to other similar situations

Responsibilities

  • Run large format digital Printers
  • Read and understand Production Orders
  • Cut the material as specified on order
  • Weed parts as necessary
  • Issue and return all needed materials
  • Verify the count of finished products and accurately account for any bad product
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
