The ADESA team is looking for a passionate and driven Digital Operations Coordinator ( Digital Auction Specialist ) to join a dedicated group of functional experts focused on supporting and enhancing our digital auction operations across our auction locations. As a Digital Auction Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing the ADESA Clear digital auction platform and ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will collaborate with auction sites to validate marketing and merchandising within Clear, manage inventory, and improve speed to sale readiness. In this role, you will work closely with the ADESA Clear leadership and operations teams to implement best practices, drive consistency, and maximize the effectiveness of our digital auction platform. This position will require travel at least 60-70% of the time.

  • Contribute to the optimization of auction operations and the effective utilization of the ADESA Clear digital platform through regular site visits.
  • Collaborate with operations, customers, and corporate teams to provide crucial feedback for the continuous improvement of the Clear product.
  • Validate and ensure the effective implementation of Clear marketing and merchandising strategies across auction locations.
  • Ensure proper merchandising of clear inventory, validating that sold cars are processed efficiently.
  • Play a key role in enhancing the speed and quality of the vehicle readiness process, from initial acquisition to final staging.
  • Analyze data and leverage reporting to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to mitigate bottlenecks.
  • Develop operational playbooks by documenting effective processes and identifying opportunities for standardization across locations.
  • Champion change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and maximize the benefits of new Clear platform functionalities and process enhancements across all relevant teams.
  • Drive employee and buyer adoption of the Clear platform through training, support, and outreach.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • 3-5 years of experience in field operations, project management, or a related role
  • Willingness to travel 50-80% of the time
  • Experience in managing and executing large-scale change initiatives with a focus on gaining buy-in, providing training, and supporting sustainable adoption at the operational level
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to enhance digital auction performance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver training and engage with teams at all levels
  • Passion for fostering positive change and driving operational excellence
  • Ability to provide valuable and actionable feedback
  • Competent in using data management tools, project management software, and communication platforms to track progress and share information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • A clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or DUI’s in the last three years
