About The Position

Monash University’s Digital Transformation team is looking for an Operations Capability Lead to oversee the daily support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a range of cross-platform digital applications, while building the capability and effectiveness of high-performing teams. This role plays a key part in delivering the strategic direction of the Domain by driving operational excellence, enabling service delivery, and supporting evolving business needs. As Operations Capability Lead, you will drive strategic planning and lead the delivery of complex programs, projects, and digital services. You’ll manage resources, applications, and system performance, while engaging senior stakeholders and guiding teams through change. Your leadership will ensure systems and services are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes. You’ll also oversee the adoption of tools, standards, and processes across the organisation, support capability development, and manage transitions from project delivery to business as usual. As a subject matter expert, you’ll provide strategic advice and contribute to the growth of specialist knowledge to support long-term organisational success.
