About The Position
The Department of General Services, Commonwealth Media Services, is searching for an experienced multimedia specialist, with emphasis on photography/videography, who takes pride in their work and has a commitment to detail, deadlines, creative solutions to daily challenges, and is available for overnight travel. Commonwealth Media Services is a full-service multimedia and marketing provider for commonwealth agencies. We transform ideas into creative, compelling content for use on agency websites, social media, and broadcast news outlets. We are looking for someone who is a multifaceted team asset with the ability to perform video, photo, editing and post-production activities including live broadcasts. You will be responsible for meeting with Commonwealth agency representatives to discuss and guide them through the media process assisting them with reaching their objectives and outreach targets. You will be assisting your "Team" in creating the best value for our customers. In addition, you will provide technical services and be proficient in current professional software including, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Apple Motion; produce/shoot/edit content for use in state agency and Governor's Office support, promotional, educational, and training videos as well as broadcast television, social media, and website design support.
