About The Position

We’re looking for a Digital Media Manager with a strong programmatic focus to own the hands-on execution, optimization, and performance of digital media campaigns. This role is very much hands on keyboard - you’ll be in platforms daily, managing live campaigns, optimizing in real time, and serving as the primary point of contact for programmatic and endemic display and video efforts. This role will take strategic direction from Bayer’s internal PMT (Performance Marketing Team), particularly the digital media manager. You’ll work closely with brand agencies and internal partners to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly, creatively sound, and performance-driven across programmatic and direct digital (endemic) buys. This role will also have the potential to work within paid social platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on experience executing and optimizing programmatic and direct digital media campaigns
  • Working knowledge of: Google Display & Video 360 (DV360) The Trade Desk Direct digital buying with publishers
  • Proven experience managing display and video campaigns from setup through optimization
  • Strong understanding of programmatic fundamentals, including targeting, bidding strategies, pacing, and performance metrics
  • Experience coordinating with publishers, suppliers, and agency partners
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple live campaigns simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, execution-focused environments
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize day-to-day digital media campaigns across programmatic and endemic display & video platforms
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all programmatic and endemic display activity, ensuring partner deliverables align with strategy, timelines, and measurement expectations. This includes:
  • Campaign setup and trafficking
  • In-flight optimization and pacing
  • Supplier and publisher coordination
  • Actualizations and post-launch updates
  • Manage hands-on buying and optimization within platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk, and coordinate direct publisher media buys
  • Monitor performance in real time and proactively adjust bids, budgets, targeting, creative, and inventory strategies to drive results
  • Partner with creative agencies on:
  • Executional planning conversations
  • Creative best practices and specifications
  • Campaign logistics and timelines
  • Ensure accurate implementation of tracking, pixels, taxonomy, and reporting requirements, working closely with Advertising Operations.
  • Troubleshoot delivery or performance issues and provide timely solutions
  • Support campaign reporting, insights, and learnings to inform future optimizations and planning
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of digital media best practices, standards, and documentation.
  • Ensure campaigns adhere to brand safety, data privacy, and platform compliance standards.
