About The Position

plus más media is seeking a highly organized and creative Digital Media Associate, Show Producer to support the development and testing of new social media shows designed for Gen Z and Millennial Latinos in the U.S. While the position supports the full production lifecycle, it places a strong emphasis on post-production leadership, workflow management, and technical oversight to ensure content is polished, scalable, and optimized for performance. We are looking for someone who thinks about post-production from the start of filming. This person understands how footage will be edited, how assets should be organized, and how to set editors up for success. They will help bridge production and post-production by identifying filming adjustments that strengthen edits, improve pacing, and enhance storytelling and retention. This role is ideal for someone with experience in content creation, entertainment production, and social media who is excited to help shape the future of Latino digital media. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience editing or producing short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. They understand what drives performance and can apply those insights to refine pilots and episodic content in post. If you are passionate about entertainment, storytelling, and uplifting Latino voices through digital media, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting entertainment shows for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), with hands-on experience in digital content creation, influencer collaborations, or communications and marketing — ideally within a mission-driven or cultural media environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with native-level Spanish speaking and writing skills required.
  • Production and post-production support: Experience supporting the full post-production lifecycle, from project setup through final delivery and archiving, while maintaining organized workflows and meeting deadlines.
  • Creative and operational balance: This is a highly collaborative role that requires both creative instinct and operational discipline. The right candidate will contribute not only to strong individual videos, but also to building efficient, repeatable production systems that allow shows to scale.
  • Editing coordination and feedback: Experience supporting edit assignments based on bandwidth and milestones, maintaining production calendars, and providing clear, constructive feedback to editors.
  • Freelance collaboration: Experience working with freelance editors or post-production talent, supporting onboarding and coordination efforts.
  • Quality control and brand alignment: Strong attention to detail and brand consistency. Experience reviewing assets prior to distribution to ensure technical standards, formatting accuracy, and alignment across platforms.
  • Clear and collaborative communicator: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with editors, producers, hosts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Growth and learning mindset: Open to learning new technologies, post-production tools, workflow systems, and experimentation methodologies to continuously improve efficiency and content quality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end production workflows across pre-production, filming, and post-production to ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and within scope
  • Coordinate post-production workflows, including managing freelance editors, tracking versions and feedback, maintaining asset organization, and ensuring high-quality final delivery across platforms
  • Support show testing and pilot development by helping refine concepts, strengthen storytelling in post, and optimize content for performance and retention
  • Assist with the production logistics such as casting coordination, contracts, scheduling, location booking, and freelancer communication
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, editorial, and leadership teams to identify blockers, propose solutions, and continuously improve production systems and scalability

Benefits

  • $48,000 - $60,000 salary range, with exact salary depending on experience and new staff rarely starting at the top of the range.
  • Flexibility for work and life: Unlike a lot of places, we actually believe that people should only work 40 hours each week, except for occasional sprints that require more time in a week. We also trust everyone to make a schedule that works for them, as long as you’re able to join all necessary meetings. Want to work more one day and less the next? Fine by us. Work better in the middle of the night than during the afternoon? Go for it. Need to shift your hours to be able to pick up your kid from school? All good.
  • Health care at the beginning of your employment with individual premiums fully covered and cost-share for dependents. Vision and dental plans are available at-cost to the individual.
  • 15 paid vacation days, 6 paid holidays, 3 paid floating holidays each year and 7.5 paid sick days each year
  • Professional development funds, with renewal of funds each fiscal year
  • Cell phone and internet reimbursement (or co-working reimbursement): We acknowledge that working from home requires using your own internet and phone for work purposes so we offer a set reimbursement amount for cell phone and internet usage. If working from home isn’t for you, we also have the option for folks to rent a co-working space and get reimbursed for their monthly costs.
  • Need-based educational loan assistance after 3 months
  • 401K contributions and matching program available at the beginning of your employment
  • Annual office closure during the last week in December
