About The Position

bizzNEST is the creative agency of Digital NEST. bizzNEST offers a paid, 1-year Career Accelerator Program program that provides real world professional training. Through this program, Associates hone and develop their technical and professional skills, gain real professional experience by working with clients, build professional level portfolios and resumes, and become competitively qualified for entry-level, career-focused employment. bizzNEST is looking for a motivated Senior Associate who will work closely under the supervision of the Digital Marketing Lead to supervise a small team of general Associates on client projects, who can assist with our digital, print and social media marketing projects. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be eager to learn, enthusiastic about digital marketing, and capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The Senior Associate will contribute to various marketing initiatives, including content creation, video marketing, graphic design, social media management, copywriting, and analytics. They will work on projects for both Associate and external clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. They will also collaborate across functional teams for projects, as needed, including Design and Video Production.

Requirements

  • College seniors or recent graduates majoring in fields of Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual / Graphic Communications, Communication Design, Digital Art or related fields. Self-taught individuals are welcome if they can demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency in digital marketing.
  • Some experience working with Canva and/or other content creation tools.
  • Some experience working with Instagram, TikTok & YouTube.
  • Basic experience with video editing softwares.
  • Experience creating persuasive & compelling written content.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness of one’s strengths, biases, and growth areas, and can apply self awareness in their work.
  • Takes the initiative to learn, and independently seek resources for personal and professional growth.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and maintain attention to detail and quality work.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Uses empathy and communication to build positive working relationships with colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar) is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management (35%):
  • Lead with marketing research to identify content ideas and engagement strategies.
  • Lead in content calendars, brainstorming sessions, and campaign planning.
  • Assist in curating and scheduling content for various social media platforms.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, hashtags, and platform updates.
  • Assist with community management: monitor and respond to engagement on social media channels.
  • Lead in tracking post performance and compile data for monthly reports.
  • Support in identifying patterns in engagement and recommend improvements.
  • Take lead in ensuring all posts align with the clients’ tone, voice, and visual identity.
  • Content Creation (35%):
  • Source relevant images, videos, and trending topics to enhance content.
  • Create visual, written, or video content for social media, websites, blogs, and other platforms.
  • Design graphics, edit photos, and produce short-form videos using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
  • Write captions, blog posts, or newsletter content that aligns with the brand’s tone and goals.
  • Work with the design & video marketing teams to align content with broader campaigns.
  • Support in brainstorming sessions, creative meetings, and content strategy discussions.
  • Other (30%):
  • Attend Digital Marketing Sync check in meetings with the Digital Marketing Lead to update the progress on client projects.
  • Task supervise and guide a team of general Associates.
  • Attend client meetings (with support of management).
  • Attend team & center hub meetings.
  • Help lead marketing meetups.
  • Attend industry events.
  • Participate in the end of the year marketing showcase.
  • Support with Associateal website maintenance.
  • Support with email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with staff members from other departments, as necessary.
  • Participate in applicable certification programs and courses.
  • Log work and progress on project management (PM) software such as Asana and customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, if necessary.
  • Manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate regularly and across-teams through email, chat and in-person.
  • Engage in continuous learning and training opportunities related to Marketing.
  • Participate in the Mentorship Program.
  • Seek and participate in professional development activities and share with the Associate cohort.
  • Support the onboarding process for new Associates during seasonal transitions.
