About The Position

Do you love books, digital tech, and the idea of helping stories come to life across screens and speakers around the world? We're on the lookout for a Digital Product Assistant who's excited to dive into the world of eBooks and audiobooks and help manage the magic behind the scenes. As our Digital Marketing Product Assistant, you'll be a key player in making sure our eBooks and audiobooks are beautifully presented, perfectly formatted, and available everywhere our readers and listeners are. At Sourcebooks, we publish stories that captivate, inform, and inspire—and we want YOU to be part of bringing them to digital life. This position can be hybrid in Naperville, IL or New York City, or fully remote in the following states ONLY: AZ, CT, IL, LA, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, NV, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, and WI.

Requirements

• Previous experience in eBooks or Audio a plus.
• Are tech-savvy, detail-obsessed, and a natural organizer.
• Know your way around spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
• Love being part of a dynamic, innovative team where collaboration and creativity thrive.
• Are always curious and eager to learn new tools, trends, and ideas to keep growing professionally.

Responsibilities

• Make sure all our titles have flawless metadata, polished formatting, and on-time releases.
• Collaborate with our editorial, production, and marketing teams to keep everything running smoothly.
• Get to know our catalog, imprints, and individual titles to identify specific opportunities for visibility, placement, and performance across platforms.
• Check digital files and ensure every product meets our high standards.
• Track launches, performance, and availability—and help us continuously improve.
• Exemplify collaboration and teamwork by aligning marketing teams, streamlining requests, maximizing asset use, and keeping everything organized in one central hub.
