About The Position

Ziff Davis Shopping helps millions of shoppers discover and save, delivering exceptional consumer and merchant-advertiser experiences across a portfolio of leading mobile and ecommerce brands. Our domestic brands include RetailMeNot, Offers.com, Blackfriday.com, TechBargains and more. We also run the leading Cash Back, Reward and Coupon codes brand in the UK (Voucher Codes). Ziff Davis Shopping is seeking a passionate, results-oriented individual to join a seasoned digital marketing team to assist with social media and PR marketing efforts in support of the RetailMeNot brand. This is a temporary role for the period of June 16th - August 31st.

Requirements

• Knowledge of organic and paid social trends and some prior experience in content creation across social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Twitter/X)
• Interest in media, influencers and consumer trends
• Strong research skills
• Inclination towards data-based decision-making
• Independent, yet collaborative mindset
• Eagerness to test and innovate
• Strong grammar, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency using Google and/or Microsoft Office suite of products

Nice To Haves

• e-commerce experience a plus
• Visual/video editing tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut) a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and executing social marketing campaigns
• Research social media trends and topics to pitch suggestions for future content
• Engage with comments and relevant content representing RetailMeNot
• Compile reporting on campaign and channel performance
• Edit, format, and post content on various social media platforms
• Track and compile daily media coverage related to RetailMeNot, competitors and industry trends
• Assist in drafting and editing press releases and media alerts
• Help maintain and update media contact lists
• Conduct research on media trends, influencers, seasonal shopping behaviors and editorial calendars
• Research potential partners, coordinating outreach efforts and managing incoming requests.
