The Digital Marketing Data Operations Manager at PIMCO is responsible for leading data-driven initiatives to support the company's digital marketing transformation. This role involves managing the implementation of the marketing data strategy, ensuring effective measurement of digital marketing performance, and overseeing the marketing data architecture. The manager will collaborate with marketing teams to execute tag strategies, facilitate campaign reporting, and deliver self-service marketing analytics, all while driving data quality and standardization for high-quality insights and reporting.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for marketing-related data, leveraging insights to optimize marketing effectiveness and drive business growth.
  • Manage the implementation of the MarTech strategy across multiple marketing channels, including web analytics and marketing automation.
  • Deploy marketing tags to streamline data collection and categorize data across MarTech.
  • Design the tag strategy process and data model for organizing and processing marketing data for analytics reporting.
  • Lead the effort for global data tracking taxonomy to ensure consistent data classification across platforms.
  • Govern data taxonomy and naming conventions to ensure data integrity.
  • Design and develop a comprehensive data governance system for marketing data accuracy.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies and share insights with the digital marketing team.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years in digital marketing data operations, including expertise in MarTech platforms and data analytics software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and derive actionable insights.
  • In-depth understanding of marketing platforms including Google Analytics and Marketo.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders and collaborate with marketing teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with data engineering principles and managing marketing data for reporting.
  • Experience with ad-serving platforms.

  • Base salary range of $127,500 - $148,000 per year.
  • Discretionary bonus based on performance.
