About The Position

Lyssé is seeking an E-Commerce Associate to support the Director of Digital Marketing & E-Commerce in managing and growing lysse.com. This role is focused on the day-to-day operations of our Shopify platform, site merchandising, and digital content that drives the DTC business. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with creative sensibility—owning backend operations while contributing to content that reflects our elevated, fashion-forward voice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, fashion, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce, ideally within fashion, beauty, or consumer lifestyle brands.
  • Prior experience managing large SKU catalogs and working within Shopify or comparable platforms is essential.
  • Proficiency in Shopify including product setup, merchandising, tagging, inventory management, and promotional execution.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and digital performance metrics. Basic understanding of SEO principles, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization. Comfortable navigating digital ad platforms (Meta, Google) and coordinating creative assets.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and general content management workflows.
  • Genuine interest in fashion and an eye for brand-appropriate storytelling across visual and written content.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

  • E-Commerce Site Management & Technical Support
  • Own daily backend operations of the e-commerce platform (Shopify), including product setup, pricing, tagging, merchandising, and quality control.
  • Manage promotional activations, markdowns, inventory adjustments, and homepage refreshes with attention to detail and UX optimization.
  • Liaise with developers and vendors to implement site enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and support CRO testing initiatives (e.g., Rebuy, Beam, A/B tools).
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in SEO, site speed, and search functionality in partnership with digital leadership.
  • Brand Content & Digital Storytelling
  • Partner on the ideation and execution of digital content for the website that captures the essence of the Lyssé New York woman and communicates our seasonal narratives.
  • Assist in crafting product copy, campaign messaging, and landing page assets that reflect brand tone, drive engagement, and inspire conversion.
  • Upload, link, and merchandise creative assets across the site with a strategic eye for editorial flow and user journey.
  • Collaborate with design, creative, and merchandising teams to curate assets from campaigns, lookbooks, and seasonal shoots.
  • Performance & Analytics
  • Track and interpret key performance metrics across product sales and site traffic to drive content optimization and marketing ROI.
  • Support digital campaign reporting and seasonal recaps, delivering insights on customer behavior and creative performance.
  • Assist with budget tracking, sell-through analysis, and e-commerce inventory forecasting.
  • Collaboration & Project Ownership
  • Work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to balance technical needs with creative storytelling.
  • Maintain an organized digital asset library and support brand consistency across the website.
  • Proactively bring forward ideas and opportunities for brand enhancement, operational improvement, or customer experience lift.
