Digital Maintenance Technician - Live Streaming Studio - MGM Grand
About The Position
As a Digital Maintenance Game Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our live streaming studio. With a team-focused mindset, you’ll collaborate with various team members, including supervisors and Game Presenters, to provide timely support and swiftly resolve technical issues as they arise . Leveraging your strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability, you will work hands-on with cutting-edge video streaming systems, network communication infrastructure, as well as install, maintain, and troubleshoot studio equipment to help ensure flawless performance and uninterrupted broadcasts. Through collaborative team efforts, you’ll help bring entertainment to life for an international audience by delivering an engaging and seamless guest experience with every stream.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- 1+ years of Audio, Visual, or Network communication installation, and maintenance experience
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for all equipment used for the live streaming studio, including video streaming, data collection, and network communication systems
- Responsible for installation and continued maintenance of video streaming equipment, such as video cameras, a/v cards, and associated cable management, to ensure live streaming product meets department and regulatory standards
- Monitor live streaming service and related information systems to identify issues for immediate resolution
- Provide updates to Studio management on work performed, and potential future issues for preventative maintenance
- Monitor content delivery network (CDN) server connections to diagnose and solve issues, perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
- Provide day-to-day technical support for department IT-related issues, administer department computers, laptops, and other hardware as-needed
