About The Position

River Valley AgCredit is seeking a motivated, self-driven Digital Loan Officer to help grow our lending portfolio through online and virtual channels. This is not a traditional lending role. You will be actively engaging with inbound opportunities, building relationships remotely, and converting digital leads into long-term customers. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow, comfortable working independently, and excited about combining sales, service, and finance in a modern lending environment. What you will do This position is located in Paducah, KY. You will connect with prospective customers through online applications, phone inquiries, and digital channels, identify their financial needs, and guide them through loan options. You will analyze financial information, structure loan proposals, and make or recommend credit decisions within your authority. You will also manage your loan portfolio to ensure strong performance and sound lending practices. In addition, you will contribute to business development efforts by promoting loan products, building relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives that drive loan volume and market growth. This role also supports residential and lifestyle lending, with a focus on growing loan production and expanding River Valley AgCredit’s presence in the market. What makes this role unique This is a highly digital, relationship-driven position. Most customer interaction happens virtually, so responsiveness, communication, and service quality are critical to success. You will be trusted to manage your pipeline and take ownership of your results. The opportunity is there. Your success will depend on your drive, follow-through, and ability to build relationships. What we are looking for We are open to candidates with either a marketing or lending background. Direct lending experience is a plus, but not required for the right person. Experience in agriculture, finance, or business is strongly preferred.
