About The Position

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Digital Interoperability (DI) Engineer to support the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopters Program Office (PMA 299) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will be supporting PMA 299’s Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting digital interoperability efforts, focused on data collection, transfer, and fusion across multiple platforms and systems. This candidate must have a strong background in systems integration, testing, and interoperability engineering across platforms and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize data interoperability solutions in operational environments. The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: Perform tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks. Has demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise. Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Apply systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.

Requirements

  • Education: Must hold a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university. Allowable substitution: Must hold a Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and must have an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience.
  • Minimum years of experience: Must have at least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems. Must have demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise.
  • Experience with data collection and transfer systems such as Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Common Data Link (CDL).
  • Knowledge of data fusion systems, including Minotaur, to integrate and present a unified operational picture.
  • Familiarity with Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (pLEO) communications and related architectures.
  • Hands-on expertise with Multifunctional Information Distribution System / Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS/JITRS).
  • Strong background in systems integration, testing, and interoperability engineering across platforms.
  • Clear communications and teamwork skills working in a collaborative environment
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
