About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6–10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience mentoring and leading engineers.
• Proven track record in technical leadership, cloud architecture, and guiding multiple projects or teams.
• Hands-on experience with scalable, resilient cloud-native systems, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Advanced skills in TypeScript, Node.js, and related tools, with the ability to establish new patterns and standards.
• Strong experience in designing stack or UI architecture, pipelines, and secure, compliant systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, prioritize tasks effectively, and make timely, strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of software development projects, including planning, delegation, and delivery.
• Lead software design and architecture decisions, defining principles, patterns, and frameworks for scalable systems.
• Drive the development of data pipelines, deployment strategies, and cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Investigate complex business challenges and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
• Mentor and coach peers and junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Ensure adherence to security, observability, and compliance standards across software projects.
• Promote adoption of best practices, tools, and processes to improve team efficiency and product quality.
