About The Position

A Better Image Printing is seeking a Digital Imaging Specialist/Graphic Designer to join our team in Chapel Hill, NC. The ideal candidate will be proficient in troubleshooting customer files and ensuring they print accurately across various output devices, including black and white, full color, and large format. This role involves operating and maintaining high-volume, state-of-the-art digital reproduction equipment. Candidates should be skilled in software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pitstop, and Quite Imposing, and should be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications. The position requires a strong ability to meet tight deadlines and a high level of organizational skills. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving while sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Pitstop, and Quite Imposing.
• Experience with both MAC and PC platforms.
• Good knowledge of hardware maintenance and connectivity.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a digital reproduction environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in variable-data printing applications.
• Knowledge of color and black & white output devices.
• Familiarity with large-format output and PDF manipulation applications.
