Requirements

  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant job experience or education beyond a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in driving architectures for digital hardware solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-organizational teams.
  • Proficiency in PCIe and other common digital bus standards.
  • Familiarity with modular systems (such as PXIe).
  • Knowledge of techniques for time and phase alignment in digital systems.
  • Expertise in hardware circuit board design of digital assemblies, including FPGAs and DRAM.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner with excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and eagerness to push technical boundaries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa or Santa Clara, CA.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Familiarity with common computer-on-module standards.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity simulation and measurement tools.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming.
  • Strong understanding of FPGA techniques for clock phase rotation and time alignment of data streams.
  • Expertise in techniques for time synchronization and phase alignment across multiple instruments.
  • Familiarity with the latest FPGA tool flows and design methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Join a high-performance R&D team located primarily in Santa Rosa, CA and partnering closely with teams around the globe.
  • Create, validate, and implement technology involving high performance digital baseband, Keysight’s next generation ASICs, analog and digital phase-lock-loop structures and microwave/mm-wave solutions.
  • Focus on digital architectures and designs including timing and synchronization for complex solutions.
