About The Position

This role demands a high-level professional with advanced expertise in digital forensics and eDiscovery processes, specializing in the collection, preservation, and analysis of electronic data for legal, regulatory, and investigative purposes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and technical skills, coupled with a strong commitment to safeguarding the integrity and security of sensitive information. Responsibilities Digital Forensics Conduct forensic imaging, acquisition, and analysis of digital devices, including computers, mobile devices, and storage media. Recover and analyze data, such as deleted files, system logs, and metadata, to uncover relevant evidence. Document findings and maintain proper chain-of-custody for all evidence. Provide expert input on forensic methodologies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. eDiscovery Management Support all phases of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI). Use industry-standard eDiscovery tools (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Concordance) to manage and process large volumes of data. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure responsive data is efficiently collected, filtered, and presented. Incident Response and Investigations Assist in cybersecurity incident response by collecting and analyzing evidence to determine the root cause and scope of security incidents. Support internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and litigation by providing accurate and defensible forensic and eDiscovery outputs. Documentation and Reporting Prepare detailed, accurate, and well-documented forensic reports and summaries for stakeholders, including legal teams and law enforcement. Maintain meticulous records of activities, tools, and methodologies used in all analyses. Continuous Improvement Stay updated on emerging digital forensics and eDiscovery trends, tools, and legal standards. Contribute to the enhancement of internal workflows, tools, and policies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, or Magnet AXIOM.
  • Experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, OpenText, or similar.
  • Knowledge of applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including EDRM, chain-of-custody protocols, and data privacy laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., EnCE, CFCE, ACE, RCA, or similar).
  • Experience working with law enforcement, legal teams, or in litigation support.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and file systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
