About The Position

The Stuckeman School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture Digital Fabrication Lab seeks to hire numerous federal work-study students. These positions will assist lab users and monitor the lab. No digital fabrication experience is necessary, but we desire applicants who are interested in learning about digital fabrication tools and methods. The lab would like to establish reliable lab hours of operation.

Requirements

  • Must have received a work-study award
  • Interest in learning about digital fabrication tools and methods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software such as Rhino, RhinoCam, Illustrator
  • Experience with laser cutting

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the lab during open hours
  • Assist students with fabrication material purchases
  • Maintain material inventory and schedule student equipment usage

Benefits

  • Starting hourly rate of $12.00
