About The Position

Digital Enterprise Sales (DES), as part of Microsoft’s Global Enterprise Sales organization, empowers our customers through the unique value of the Microsoft Cloud by building a globally led, digital-first scale organization aligned with partners. As part of our local subsidiaries or Digital Sales centers around the world, you will engage a dedicated set of enterprise customers to identify and achieve their business objectives through best-in-class digital engagement and partner co-selling. As part of our transformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our sales motions. The Global Enterprise Sales organization with a charter to achieve Microsoft and Customer business outcomes with a focus on AI, Copilot and Security Digital Enterprise Sales Azure team is seeking a Digital Enterprise Sales Manager – Azure to lead a team responsible for selling the transformative value of Microsoft Azure services, to support customers in their cloud transformation Journey, through Migrations, Databases, Analytics and AI. You will lead a team of Azure Specialists focused that manage a dedicated set of enterprise customers, to identify and achieve their business objectives through best-in-class digital engagement and partner co-selling. The Digital Enterprise Sales Manager plays a pivotal part, coaching and enabling DES sellers to provide bet in class Microsoft Azure Cloud Journey and transformation path to customers, utilizing the AI's potential to solve problems, boost efficiency, and drive innovation. By staying abreast of AI advancements and fostering collaborative relationships, the Manager ensures sellers are capable of providing customers with the ability of fully harnessing the power AI's, transforming outcomes by providing actionable insights and industry success. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 9+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 11+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 6+ years of solution or services sales experience.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a thought leader in digital transformation across solution areas to advise customers and represent Microsoft, leading and coaching on transformational shifts to drive deployment and create business value for customers based on specific business needs and priorities. Leads a virtual cross-organizational team on strategic projects and high-impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value.
  • Leads their teams to identify and track new opportunities. Leverages stakeholders (e.g., account-aligned team unit) to build pipeline within the territory, coaching on interfacing with prospective customers to build network.
  • Collaborates with other managers to support their team and/or other teams (e.g., account team units [ATUs]) to identify and engage internal and external business or subject matter decision makers.
  • Communicates strategies to their team to accelerate the closing of deals and coaches others on the implementation of close plans to de-risk and drive predictable deal closure.
  • Guides their team to build a network of partners to cross-sell, up-sell, and co-sell. Helps the team identify new partners, evaluate partner capabilities, and supports on-boarding new partners.
  • Coaches their team on business and market knowledge. Coaches team on ways to collaborate internally to position Microsoft products, solutions, and/or services against competitors.
  • Oversees the end-to-end business of the assigned territory with in-depth knowledge of Industry, Cloud infrastructure, application development, data or AI landscapes.
