About The Position

The Digital Engagement Specialist I at Resurgent Capital Services is responsible for engaging with customers through various communication channels to address inquiries and develop payment solutions for their accounts. This role is part of a new strategy aimed at enhancing customer interaction and support, ensuring compliance with relevant laws while maintaining high standards of service and productivity.

Requirements

• 1-2 Years of related experience, preferably in a call center or collection environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated skills in problem solving, negotiations and conflict resolution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with strong writing skills, strong organization skills, time management and a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
• Relevant experience in the credit industry desired with a clear understanding of compliance requirements related to State, Federal and FDCPA guidelines.
• Excellent work ethic and unquestionable integrity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute on required actions as indicated by information received from customers while adhering to state and federal laws.
• Negotiate solutions on delinquent accounts through written communication while ensuring company standards are met.
• Respond to customer inquiries within established timeframes.
• Ensure daily workplan is met and priorities are followed.
• Maintain established levels of productivity, efficiency, and quality to ensure company standards are met.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of account data through proper documentation of account changes and consumer interactions.
• Assist supervisor and manager in developing and documented processes as they are developed and refined.
