About The Position

VP Racing is seeking a full-time Digital E-Commerce Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. Digital Commerce Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, technical development, and performance optimization of VP Racing’s eCommerce platforms and digital marketing systems. This role owns the operational and technical functions of our Shopify Plus storefronts, supports digital marketing execution through Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and ensures the integrity of our digital presence across all customer-facing channels. This position will also develop working knowledge of VP Racing’s brand licensing and trademark portfolio as it relates to digital commerce and eCommerce merchandising compliance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or related field; AND at least three (3) years of direct Shopify Plus store management experience (DTC and/or B2B strongly preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Audience Builder
  • Proficiency in Liquid templating, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for Shopify theme development

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of DTC and B2B Shopify Plus storefronts, including product launches, promotions, catalog management, and pricing execution
  • Leverage Shopify Plus tools and third-party integrations to automate workflows and enhance the customer experience
  • Support Shopify POS operations for race events and brand activations, including inventory sync and on-site functionality
  • Execute and optimize email and SMS campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including segmentation, automation, and journey management
  • Maintain data integrity and audience management to ensure compliance and campaign performance
  • Write and maintain Shopify theme code (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support a high-performing, brand-aligned storefront
  • Identify and implement UX and conversion rate optimization improvements
  • Build and maintain dashboards across GA4, Shopify Analytics, and Looker Studio to track key eCommerce KPIs
  • Deliver performance insights and data-driven recommendations to marketing leadership
  • Manage on-page and technical SEO, site performance, and overall digital health
  • Coordinate with internal teams and agency partners on integrations, optimization, and site improvements
  • Ensure eCommerce merchandising aligns with trademark and licensing standards in partnership with Legal and Brand Marketing
