Adecco, the world’s largest staffing company, is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Digital Docutech Machine Operator to work in Grove City, Ohio. This position involves operating digital printing equipment and ensuring that all production processes are followed accurately to meet customer specifications. The operator will be responsible for verifying customer order specifications, including any special work instructions, before beginning the order based on the information contained in the customer order jacket. It is crucial for the operator to determine that all raw materials and supplies needed to produce the order are available before starting production. The Digital Docutech Machine Operator will set up production equipment according to a written set of customer order specifications and will follow established work instructions for every step in the production process or for the specific piece of production equipment being used. Monitoring the quality of work-in-process or finished goods at each step in the production process is essential, and the operator will utilize principles of statistical process control to make necessary adjustments if tolerances reach upper or lower limit values of order specifications. In addition to operating production equipment at rated speeds that promote maximum efficiency while producing a quality customer product, the operator will also be responsible for completing all paperwork related to the production order. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and adhering to established safety policies are also key responsibilities of this role. The operator must be able to work effectively with both individuals and groups, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
