About The Position

UPS is seeking a strategic, data-driven Digital Director of Marketing Operations and Technology to build and scale a modern, efficient marketing engine that fuels high-growth targets while maintaining margin discipline for our B2B ancillary business units including insurance, risk & fraud, and digital supply chain orchestration. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this leader will be responsible for evolving our MarTech stack, AI-powered automation, and data integration across CRM, marketing automation, and measurement platforms. They will help transform how we generate, nurture, and convert demand for our risk protection, secure commerce, and post‑purchase solutions serving ecommerce merchants, traditional shippers, and product producers. This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for someone who has: Led marketing operations in B2B environments with lean resourcing, Operated inside a large, matrixed organization, and Knows how to combine strategy, systems, and scrappy execution to deliver measurable growth Success in this role means translating strategy into a unified brand strategy and activation efforts with measurable outcomes, continually refining our approach through data, and ensuring alignment across key functions including Sales, Product, and Sales Enablement. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing brand efforts and B2B marketing programs with a deep understanding of digital channels, audience targeting, and ROI optimization. You’re equally comfortable leading a team, managing creative and activation agency partners, and getting hands-on with performance data to drive continuous improvement. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5+ years focused in Marketing Operations / MarTech / Revenue Operations.
  • Proven experience in lean, high-growth environments where you had to make tradeoffs and prioritize ruthlessly.
  • Experience operating within a large, matrixed organization (e.g., global or multi-business-unit enterprise) and navigating governance, compliance, and shared platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise with: A leading CRM (preferably Salesforce or equivalent), A leading Marketing Automation Platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot/Eloqua), Analytics/BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar), Data integration tools (iPaaS, APIs, or middleware solutions).
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or operationalizing AI-enabled marketing capabilities, such as: Predictive lead scoring and routing, AI-assisted content and campaign optimization, Chatbots or virtual assistants, Workflow automation at scale.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen: able to connect marketing investments to pipeline, revenue, and margin.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in or with multi-product, multi-segment environments.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills; must be responsive, collaborative, and team focused.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve Martech strategy and stack evolution: own the end-to-end MarTech roadmap and optimize current and new tools across CRM, marketing automation and attribution & analytics
  • Design and deploy AI enabled workflows to raise operating efficiency, automate campaign operations, improve lead scoring and customer journey personalization
  • Integrate and optimize CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Own the marketing performance measurement framework: define KPIs, dashboards and scorecards that connect activity to pipeline and revenue
  • Architect marketing processes that are scalable yet programmatic for a lean team
  • Act as a -bridge to internal stakeholders across UPS marketing, data science, IT and application development
  • Serve as a player-coach, able to roll up sleeves on configuration, reporting and trouble shooting
  • Lead and mentor an emerging Marketing Operations team and manage contractors/agency partners as needed
