About The Position

The Digital Designer is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary creative responsible for bringing Pixi’s visual storytelling to life across all digital channels. This role requires a true generalist and someone equally comfortable designing static assets, capturing or editing photography, producing short-form video and leveraging social-first and AI-powered tools to create content at speed and scale. You will collaborate closely with Ecommerce, Social Media, CRM and Growth teams to produce high-impact creative that is both brand-aligned and performance-driven. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership from concept through execution and consistently looks for smarter, faster and more innovative ways to create always maintaining Pixi’s brand guidelines and elevating creative output through innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in digital design within beauty, skincare or a related category.
  • Demonstrated experience as an all-arounder creative, with hands-on work across graphic design, photography, video production and editing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a mix of static design, photo and video content particularly social-first creative within beauty or lifestyle.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects); experience with Figma is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern AI-enabled creative tools (e.g., AI image enhancement, background generation, video editing assistance, content ideation tools) and a willingness to adopt new technologies.
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals including typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, composition and motion.
  • Working knowledge of print production and digital asset specifications across platforms.
  • Highly organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute best practice, audience optimized digital marketing assets including website or app creative, email campaigns, paid or organic social assets and promotional materials.
  • Capture, retouch and edit product or lifestyle photography for digital and social use.
  • Produce, edit and optimize short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social) including basic motion graphics and animation.
  • Drive social-first creative thinking, ensuring assets are optimized for platform, format and performance.
  • Partner with Ecommerce to ensure creative vision is effectively translated into compelling digital experiences. Understand digital storytelling across all customer touchpoints, ensuring cohesive and engaging brand experiences adapting creative into multiple formats and variations for different platforms and performance testing.
  • Experience in end-to-end content creation—from concept and shoot through final edit and delivery.
  • Leverage modern AI-powered creative tools to accelerate workflows, enhance imagery, support video editing and ideate at scale while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Own and evolve Pixi’s digital visual identity in partnership with the Chief Design Officer and Creative Director.
  • Support additional creative needs including print collateral, retail or event visuals, photography direction and storyboards as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
