About The Position

The Digital Designer will bring our brands to life across all digital and social platforms, with a focus on creating compelling, mobile-first and social-first design. This role translates brand identity into engaging, on-trend executions that connect with audiences and drive results. From websites to social content, email campaigns, and digital advertising, the Digital Designer will deliver polished, impactful creative that supports bareMinerals, Laura Mercier, and Buxom globally.

Requirements

  • BFA or higher in design or related field
  • 3-to-5 years related overall experience with + years of that experience at Studio Design level at a creative agency or in-house at a leading relevant beauty brand
  • Demonstrated ability to be an inspiring leader
  • A strong multi-disciplinary background in art direction, motion & animation and digital print
  • Ability to develop and express creative concepts in 2D
  • Ability to understand, develop, and translate creative direction into comprehensive guidelines for vendors, and other external partners.
  • Possesses expert knowledge and hands-on experience in asset creation-both still and motion, from initial concept through execution, as well as have a fundamental understanding pre- and post-production.
  • Skilled in applying assets across digital and social channels, with a strong understanding of platform and marketing best practices, including flow, engagement, narrative building, and environment.
  • Equally comfortable and able to provide effective oversight or be hands-on and execute projects independently.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including FIGMA (a must)
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work on time and with a keen attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful under tight deadlines; thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs to quickly identify solutions.
  • Highly organized, passionate, collaborative, energetic, positive, self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Design creative assets for web, email, paid media, and social channels with a strong focus on mobile and social-first design.
  • Create innovative and engaging content for paid and organic social platforms, aligning with each brand's voice and visual identity.
  • Maintain weekly website refreshes and seasonal campaign updates, ensuring designs are optimized for desktop and mobile.
  • Partner with the Director of Digital Creative, copywriters, marketers, and other designers to bring briefs to life with creative excellence.
  • Deliver digital banners and seasonal refreshes for key retail partners including Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Macy's, and QVC, ensuring consistent brand storytelling.
  • Design scalable and innovative email templates and layouts in collaboration with the Email Marketing team.
  • Stay on top of emerging digital and social trends, ensuring Orveon's brands remain visually relevant, engaging, and competitive.
  • Ensure every digital asset reflects the brand identity while meeting performance goals and creative standards.
