About The Position

In the role of Digital Delivery Lead, we'll count on you to provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, along with managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level. You will possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and construction documents are produced. You will work directly with the Project Manager to assist the Coordinators and Specialists to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope. Your responsibilities will include executing digital deliverables and supporting production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects, providing technical support, and communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team. To maintain quality, you will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase through the issue of construction documents. You will execute these tasks autonomously and also mentor and provide guidance to other team members. Additionally, you will oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system, and help maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects. You will ensure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirements, generate and maintain model setup, and monitor and maintain company standards and model health. You will host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes, communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange processes at predetermined milestones, and engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients. Mentoring staff to help develop their skillsets and providing guidance for Project Managers to support project needs will also be part of your role.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
  • Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools.
  • Advanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
  • Familiar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications.
  • Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies.
  • Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications.
  • Familiar with content creation and management concepts.
  • Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership traits.
  • Strong organizational skills to establish priorities between technical support requests and project work.

Responsibilities
