Digital Delivery Advisory Lead

STVLos Angeles, NY
1d$102,272 - $136,363

About The Position

STV Digital is seeking a Digital Delivery Advisory Lead to support our growing portfolio of digital transformation programs with major transportation owners, including state DOTs and large capital programs. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and operational change. It focuses on helping owners define where they want to go with digital delivery, how to get there, and how to bring people, processes, and technology together in a practical, achievable way. This position is not a BIM Manager or VDC production role. It is a consulting position for someone who understands BIM and digital delivery enough to speak the language, but whose real strengths are communication, strategy, problem-solving, and guiding clients through complex change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of BIM/VDC experience across design and construction phases.
  • Proficiency in Digital Delivery tools (Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud; Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, Open Suite) and familiarity with Power BI and model-based quantity takeoff tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital delivery concepts (BIM, model-based construction, BEP development, asset information, field data capture).
  • Ability to evaluate workflows, document processes, synthesize findings, and present recommendations clearly.
  • Experience communicating with mixed technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in an advisory/consulting environment where ambiguity, discovery, and problem-solving are central.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting digital transformation or program-level digital delivery initiatives for owners or large capital programs.
  • Familiarity with Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Synchro, or similar environments (expert-level modeling skills not required).
  • Understanding of asset management concepts and how design/construction data flows into O&M systems.
  • Prior work in curriculum development, training strategy, or change management.
  • Background working with DOTs or large transportation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support DOT and agency clients as they develop digital delivery strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate workshops with client teams, contractors, and stakeholders to identify challenges, define goals, and align on near-term priorities and long-term direction.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, structured recommendations for leadership audiences.
  • Develop frameworks that link design models, construction workflows, and O&M/asset management requirements into a cohesive delivery approach.
  • Document roles, responsibilities, workflows, and curriculum needs for digital delivery training programs.
  • Assist in shaping client-facing materials such as program guidance, executive briefings, and strategic recommendations.
  • Define curriculum and training pathways for field inspectors, project managers, designers, and contractors.
  • Produce or oversee development of sample training modules, role-based guides, and communication materials.
  • Coordinate with engagement and communications teams to help clients educate internal and external audiences on digital delivery practices.
  • Work with Digital PMs, analysts, and technical specialists to carry out discovery, documentation, workflow mapping, and pilot evaluations.
  • Review findings from digital delivery pilots, identify barriers to adoption, and propose process or technology improvements.
  • Serve as a key client-facing advisor for digital strategy, helping agencies navigate the transition from legacy processes to model-based delivery.
  • Communicate confidently with designers, contractors, inspectors, and executives, adapting language to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Identify opportunities to expand scope responsibly by highlighting unmet needs or logical next steps in a program.
