As a key member of the NC State Athletics Digital Strategy team, the Digital Content Strategist plays a vital role in shaping and evolving the department's digital presence. This position bridges content creation and strategic planning, developing digital-first campaigns that elevate the NC State Athletics brand while supporting revenue-generating goals including ticket sales, sponsorships, and fan engagement. The strategist is responsible for developing and executing strategic social media and digital initiatives across official athletics accounts (@PackAthletics), ensuring content aligns with the department's brand platform, strategic communications goals, and marketing objectives. This includes writing and producing engaging content that follows content strategy best practices, reinforces key messages from the department's strategic plan, and strengthens relationships with fans and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and digital expert with strong photography, video, and graphic skills. They will attend key events to capture real-time content, support live engagement, and build compelling narratives that enhance the fan experience and expand the reach of NC State Athletics. This position plays a critical role in growing our online community, engaging core audiences, and building effective content distribution channels.
